Yung-Chun Hu, also known as Julie, is a dedicated sound and music artist from Taiwan, currently based in New York. Beginning her career in music media scoring and orchestration, Julie's continual exploration of music's boundaries led her to a fascinating intersection between musical notes and noise. This discovery encouraged her to explore beyond traditional music and get into the world of sound design. She has extensive experience as a Sound Supervisor and Mixer, often collaborating with independent filmmakers. Julie also works alongside seasoned industry professionals, as both editor and assistant.

Philosophy

From music to sound, when reading scripts, words whisper, each sharing its own vision with me. As a sound designer and music composer, this intimacy allows me to merge seamlessly with the narrative, enabling me to share my unique vision with filmmakers. Together, we transform silent pages into a living, breathing story.
